    There are 2 diodes going to the relay coil side, and if the one on the ALT side shorts it will keep the relay pulled in. Your pump is running without the relay installed so there is a short or PO rewired it direct because they may have had the diode open

    More good grief and I don't have the time right now to get into all of it, but the Suzuki df300 shows compression is 10.5:1 The 350 is 12:1 So suggest you show what your talking about this time

    No, but even if it was the Reg should limit pressure to what it's set at. There is a color ring usually where the vacuum hose connects. What color is it?

    You should see 30 psi so something is making it high. The Reg being new, are you sure it's a 30 psi and not maybe 40? Either that or maybe the gauge is off If you have a air compressor and air Reg can bench test the fuel Reg
