    Ns90a idiot mistake

Don't know what shorted out, but most likely it was the ignition system. If it was a Mercruiser it normally is the ECM

The mounts should be done equally only if they are equal to begin with. If one was turned more then the other then the twist starts. If unsure, with boat seating level and both top nuts loose. Lift motor up slightly by the thermostat housing bolts so the mounts are not touching the bottom...

What ever you do, do NOT hammer the bar in. Hammering is only for side to side. I use my hands and just smack it all around. If its hammered IN it can get stuck

    Hole in Mercruiser gimbel housing

Being aluminum means it won't rot after drilling the hole, so no worries there.

Maybe my turn for new boat time

Have not thought of mesh, and this would only be used in cool weather so we could run around a bit longer (not having to winterize anymore :p)

Crownline 180 - There are no inline 6, it should be a 3.0 4 cyl Agree with Ted, it will be the hull that should make the decision after you know the motor runs

Maybe my turn for new boat time

Soon as I get it and might, but have a few things that I need to get done. The boat lift guy is going to rearrange the bunks and would like that done before taking it to the canvas guy. Last time I wanted the guy to redo the lift it took 3 years and I wound up doing it my self
