    I would run the relay off the alternator output with a diode. That way if you have the key on listening to tunes, the cooler won't drain the battery

    Yellow with red stripe is crank signal. Not your issue if it cranks. Back to dwell. If the dwell meter isn't registering anything while cranking, you have a points issue.

    If it's closed cooled, make sure the AF is up to snuff. It's supposed to be changed every 5 years or so I would still pressure test the system (must be drained first). Being closed cooled makes that easy If the block passes that test, simply change oil and filter, run for 5 minutes, change...

    Nope, threaded brass plug unless someone installed that aftermarket clear plastic plugs ( not marine approved)

    You can leave it in, however it adds 4-5 hours of work during the process and you have to have the drive out to align the drive Just pull the drive since you have to pull the drive every year for PMs. Motor should take less than 45 minutes to pull

    All Holley carbs have externally adjustable float. Pull sight gauge, fuel should be at bottom of sight hole

    Only take 2 oz of water to froth oil Did you drain the block and manifolds before pulling Anti Freeze in? If you didn't drain, you most likely have a cracked block Drain the water, pressure test. Should hold 15psi forever
