    blisters are uncured resin reacting with water happens to moored boats without a barrier coat or bottom paint as stated above, grind them out, dry it out, should only need VE fairing compound, barrier coat and bottom paint.

    manuals are copyright protected. the process of rebuilding the carburetor will be similar to any small engine. make sure to get an OEM carburetor kit.

    OPs engine is a Mercruiser SBC 350 reman with anywhere from a 0.020 to 0.060 overbore sold as a "357" so it could be a 352 cube, 355 cube or 357 cube. Unless you look at the reman tag, neither you or I know the displacement.. you are arguing for the sake of arguing

    pull the line from the power steering cooler to the thermostat housing. connect to hose and backflush. the tubes in the power steering cooler are smaller than the pickup screen on the drive, so the power steering cooler may be plugged with dead fish, shells, rocks, etc.

    nah..... as soon as I put the spare drive together and on the stand as well as have a pile of spare props..... no prop damage, no leaking seals, no blistering paint, etc. I have a spare trans for my car now and the intermittent synchro grind went away.

    uhhhh. spec is 150 psi cranking per GM and Mercruiser and VP.... to get to 200 psi cranking pressure, you need to have well over 14:1 compression
