    ??-----Get the motor running.-----Then install new plugs.-----I would use L77J4C if it was my motor.-----You can use anything you desire !

    Step #1 is to do a compression test with a QUALITY gauge.-----And I would drain the gearcase and pressure test the seals.-----That leakage is normal on many 2 strokes.

    Any pictures of the old plugs?----??----Use the L77J4C !!-----Post compression values after a test run.----These motors use needle and roller bearings.-----If water was inside the motor there can be serious damage to these bearings.----If you get it running then time will tell.------

    Use L77JC4------The sparkplugs perform for many years.-----Why the need to replace them ?----Running issues ?-----What trouble shooting was done if any ?

    Just let it drain for 24 frs.----Refill with good gear oil.-------No need to flush at all.

    Do not worry about the " K " on that motor.-----Install a new water pumpo impeller.----Remove inspection plate on top of flywheel.----Post pictures of the 2 ignition coils.

    Markets are different in many areas.-----Some shops will not work on older motors and therefor they are of no use to "club fisted " folks.----And often those that know how to work on them have lots given to them.----What motor and where is your market ?

    oil seal removal

    A dremel tool can be used here.-----Those often have a big / hefty washer pressed in AFTER the seal.---Washer keeps fishing line away from the seal.------Remove that washer.----Remove the seal.-----Install a new seal.----Make a new washer if you feel it is needed.----That washer is optional.

    That is a mechanical shift ( oil pressure assisted ) and a 1973 model.----No doubt about that fact !-----That motor has a fuel pump !-----Easy to find parts for that motor in my opinion !

    The 63 models can run on 50:1 mix with good oil.-----I can't believe someone would run the electric shift without a working generator !
