    yes, chemicals in pressure treated lumber will dissolve aluminum by electrolysis. ACX or BCX plywood is fine if you dont want to add much weight, flotation foam and PVC foam board works to. you will need to use 4# foam vs 2# would keep any brackets aluminum

    they make fairly inexpensive reversing solenoids for winches that work with the Parker/Oildyne EHA actuator. good ones with the SAE J1171 rating are about $70. then a $5 switch can be used.

    with max RPM's of your motor in the 5000-5500 range, getting 5200-5300 RPM is about perfect. if you want more speed with the current 90hp. you need to either put the motor on a hull built for speed, or put the boat on the trailer and pull it with your truck
