    Mercruiser 3.0 Fuel Issues

Might just be the pump, but need to verify first. This is why every thread needs to start with a motor serial number

    Mercruiser 3.0 Fuel Issues

It has 2 functions but the first iss for safety. It keeps fuel from being able to siphon fuel from the tank if a fuel line breaks. The other side it should keep fuel from going back to the tank, but then again the fuel pup should help in that effort

    Mercruiser 3.0 Fuel Issues

Need clarification There needs to be a tube that goes down to the bottom of the fuel tank. If the fitting is removed and there is no tube, then check the tube is not part of the tank. If there is no tube which goes to the bottom of the tank then that is a problem Antisiphon valve

    Mercruiser 3.0 Fuel Issues

Good deal If you have a regular marine fuel pump which is motor driven off the side of the block, would like to know which one. Don't remember if you gave us your serial number, but some pumps need 2 gaskets to keep the pressure down to 7 psi or less With it emptying, need the pump type model...

    Old ford 302 no spark

If the smug mark by the pin is zero, and the intake valve had closed prior to bringing it around the last 180* then looks great

    Old ford 302 no spark

Remove starboard valve cover, then rotate motor until #1 intake valve closes and piston comes to the top

    Old ford 302 no spark

Where the rotor is pointing is not that much of an issue, so long as the firing order is correct. It pointing 180* out (or backwards) just means instead of it being on #1 compression, its on #1 exhaust stroke

Most likely the float needs to be reset. The bouncing around can do that to it in transit

2002 Mercruiser 4.3L MPI Fuel Pump Style

The 0M number is the serial number, and your correct 861156A1 is the pump part number. Just search on it and it will show several that will work The pump can pressurize more then 42psi but the regulator (item 13) which is attached to the cooler keeps the pressure constant. The noise might be...

    Old ford 302 no spark

It should be dead on it. When a timing light is used, the pointer aligns up with the additional marks on the balancer. There are other marks with numbers. Your looking for 6 or 8* BTDC when running
