    since this is the boat you damaged the prop/shaft/rudder on. I would simply talk to the prop shop that you will need to get your shaft from and get the same prop that was on there.

    you should have to remove the tiller arm from the rudder shaft and loosen or remove the gland nut from the packing gland and the rudder should drop out

    raw water pumps do not suck/draw. they only push water. to push water, you need either 8" of water over the pump (such as the boat in the water and the drive would be submerged), or you need a garden hose forcing water to the pump (such as muffs) running in a tub simply cooks your impeller...

    BTW, make sure you have the raw water pump plumbed correctly. If mounted to the crank, the upper port is the inlet. Follow the arrows on the front cover
