    It could be your breaker has gone bad. When it won't start measure voltage on each side of the breaker to see if its present.

    Correct and as shown in post 3, ground is also applied once the motor waters up and the Temp switch makes connection. Then so long as the motor stays warm it will keep the ground even with key OFF

    No the Orange does not power the purple The purple is powered from the Key as in post 22
