Thinking the motor might need a valve job with your compression numbers. A new motor would be 150 so with seeing 180 the gauge is probably off. If we reset the 180 to 150 which puts the 150 at 120. In any case there lowest should be no more then 10% from the highest

Fuel pressure is good but fuel line is dry when motor is shut off when warm. The antisiphon valve is working and fuel is not draining back.
If the above statement is true, then its either the pump or the rubber fuel line is collapsing inside

Need a bit more clarification to make sure what your doing. Reason is because if the boat is a 2016 then the control and wiring will match and should already have a kill switch. Your asking so my guess (using my pea brain) is we are not working on the same...
All of the bearigs are the same for VP, OMC, Indmar, Merc (MR, pre, gen 1 , gen 2, bravo), and only difference is if you have a HP transom assembly.

To kill a 2 stroke motor the Magneto is grounded
To kill a 4 stroke motor 12V is removed from the coil

Note the M terminals goes to the Magneto. One of the M's connects to ground. When key is turn OFF it grounds the connection. Same thing happens when the kill switch is pulled
