    Spline on pump shaft.-----Nothing to disconnect.-----You have to hope that no water got in there to jam the splines with rust.----Inspect / check pump gear box for water before spending any beer tokens,

    If drain plugs were left out the boat would fill up.----The exhaust / muffler must be drained for winters on these things !

    Yes those Turbo Jets need to be winterized.----Rebuilt one ( 115 HP ) some time ago and the inner exhaust housing was cracked open.

    Neighbor had a machine like that.-------Auger stopped turning.----On inspection I found nothing but bronze powder in the worm housing.------Folks today just do not inspect / maintain stuff anymore.

    VRO to mechanical fuel pump

    The old style pumps are DIAPHRAGM pumps.------Remove the pulse limiter as it is not needed with the old style pumps.----You need to use 2 separate pulse lines , one to each pump.
