    FWIW..... I have an old set of westlakes on similar vintage galvanized trailer wheels that elso did the exact same thing. They have a date code of 1996 and 1997 I had Goodyears also fail by pealing the cap back in 2010 (2001 date code)

    If you are getting 40 psi on the gauge when running, however the ECM is seeing 0, then plumb in a mechanical gauge to see which sender is bad. you either have oil pressure and the ECM sensor isnt working, or you do not have oil pressure and the gauge/sensor is faulty

    if the shutter rubber burnt up, inspect the rubber exhaust hoses. the motor suffered an overheat or a raw water pump failure. rubber bits in the exhaust are good for 250F max. the temperature of exhaust and water is about 220F. the temperature of exhaust without water is between 900 and 1200f
