if its an SX, the gearing in the top transmission is all the same across the board and the gear ratio change from 4-6-small 8-large 8 is all done in the lower gear set.
toon maker owns a break press vs a set of rolls......result is still the same as GM pointed out.
shape of logs doesnt mean much, only the displacement.
only to the people selling the hydrofoil to you. they make money
if you want the best benefit on a pontoon, you need a jack plate and power tilt to properly have the prop height adjusted by weight on-board
Most aluminum trailers for a 14' boat are 3" heavy channel or 3" w-beam with a 3" square or 3x5 rectangular center beam (usually 1/4" web) As you go up in size of boat you go up in size on the materials
typical 2x2 aluminum rectangular tube wont be strong enough for what you are intending. my guess is you will have fatigue cracks in a very short period of time.
Fiberglass or aluminum Starcraft?
Body putty should never be used on a boat. Fairing compound is what you need
I personally would hammer and dolly it out if its an aluminum boat
Every synthetic rope comes with a rope cert (so does certified steel)
You may want to look at your steel cable rating and understand working and breaking strength there too. We went from 1/4" cable to 6mm Amsteel (increase in strength going staunless cable to dynema), because the LAME code...
Amsteel blue is the common rope (line of dynema, not color)
Used a lot of it up to 7/8 at my last job. Used the dynice dux up to 25mm as well (about 50% higher breaking strength than the Amsteel Blue) teufelberger dynema is in between
87 up TBI small valve. I would not go out of my way to buy them, however if you got them free (yes, free), and then took them to a machine shop to freshen, you would have about $350 in them.
Otherwise call around to some good machine shops and not your neighbor and get a good set of vortec...
yes, on your 2017, the "curved areas" are the engineered stringers. you will be fine where you are putting your thru-hull.
not sure why you think the B3 water inlet stinks its been proven on motors with 3x your current HP.
