my first thought is you have a bad connection somewhere. start with cleaning every connection from the battery to the engine and up to the helm and back
if that doesnt do it, pull the plugs and try to crank. you may be hydrolocked
fuel injection does not get you any more power or fuel economy than a carburetor. it just costs a lot more.
later model Gen 1 GM motors are simply running Vortec heads
the latest models of motors are either LS series or LT series with variable valve timing
recommend you go with a pair of...
the pair from the machine shop should be about $400-$500 done
NASCAR has not run vortec heads.....ever.
late models and sportsman class did for a while prior to the rule change and every good machine shop that serviced the racers had several pair of heads done and ready to go with the ARP...
if you are in florida, a standard 2-car garage can be as short as 18' and as long as 20' an "over-sized" 2-car garage is almost large enough to get a car in it.
however to the point. there is "NO SUCH THING AS STANDARD" when it comes to a 2-car garage and builders.
