    there are two ways to make gel coat shiny...... use the duratec gloss additive when you spray - it will shine like paint, however have orange peel start with 400 grit, work your way up to 1200 grit, then use aquabuff 2000 and then 3M finesse it. (this is how 90% of gel is made shiny)

    first, you cant use gas hose from autozone. Autozone does not carry the required USCG approved marine hose to prevent you from blowing up. the line from the fuel pump to the carb should be steel or marine rated A2-15 hose. that little drip is a bomb what is your fuel pressure at the carb...

    new to me carb came in with incorrect secondary metering block and someone butchered the throttle plates to get it to idle correctly because of that. contacted the seller and got a partial refund. going with billet metering blocks. specs - 950HP, marine J-tubes, progressive throttle linkage...
