    So I became a proud boat owner today.

    They do but the cash outlay can sometimes be spread so It doesn't hurt so bad. I've never bought a new boat, can't afford it, but I can prioritize the shortcomings of the old boat and hopefully keep it going awhile.

    Yep mine was the same, cockpit hatch on the starboard and quarter berth on the port. Why the liner was cut is a mystery.

    If it's anything like my old 27 there's very little space between the hull and inner liner. The only reason to cut it would be to back up a motor mount. IMHO

    Oil pressure

    This hose is probably connected to the drain on the oil pan for draining the oil thru the garboard drain hole. the hose may have a leak in it. it's not oem so wouldn't show up in a manual.

    Fell for my first scam but fixed before anything happened

    I pay no attention to anything coming from the Internet anymore. Too much BS . I regularly delete emails and text without ever opening them. Snail mail is even suspect but at least I can open an envelope without it sending a notification back to the sender alerting them that I opened said message.

    Being around sailboats I've seen a lot of blisters and quite honestly most of the blisters return. You must get the entire hull laminate dry before patching or they just pop up again. There is no quick, easy, permanent fix. If the blisters are wide spread your best option is to remove all gel...
