    Call the engine company !! Warranty ? Look at the space between the 2 holes !!! there is a sMASHED IN area. Do not run the engine!!! Call the company about the crushed in metal area.

    Agree with a float being not adjusted correctly. Did you change any little Float parts ? Some carburetor kits have rubber tipped float pins. Original tip can be all Brass. And some carbs are very touchy to rebuild correctly. I assembled ta carb 2 times. Then I found a new MISSING part ...

    STOP now ! You will be unhappy repairing all that ROT. Aluminum boat can have some loose leaking rivets. Check the transom for being soft wood. 1.5 days to repair rivets and transom. My 1984 Lowe 16; Aluminum is still a never leak boat. Did replace plywood transom. 1 hour and done. It sits...

    22 foot boat. Check that tachometer and GPS speed for being very accurate. Does the bilge pump EMPTY ALL the water down there ?
