    First thing I did was get rid of the plastic umbrella just so I could see what's going on with the real machine...

    Running pig rich causes excessive carbon deposits and stuck rings among other things.

    I don't know much about it, but I suspect that if you cut away the cowling on an air cooled engine ii would overheat..
