My 2015 grand dodge grand 's towing capacity

I've towed overweight once. Not a good situation. I could not go over 25 mph as it would start to fishtail and lose control. I was only going about 5 miles, so I just kept going slowly. Passed a cop sitting on the side of the road, he just shook he just finger at me. Glad he had a sense of...

Can the base of engine work? Two to bolts under engine are rusted and can

To me it’s not a big job. But I have been turning wrenches since I was 9 years old. Of corse if you find a reliable shop, it may cost more than the boat is worth. It’s up to you to have a reliable friend who knows what they are doing or take it To a shop.

Can the base of engine work? Two to bolts under engine are rusted and can

Do as suggested with the remote tank. To me it sounds like you don't have much mechanical knowledge. Do you have a friend close to your area that knows a bit more? Also changing fuel filters as suggested would be a good thing.

1993 Stingray 556 Leak in Bilge

Check post #4. Also check the exhaust tube inside the boat when in the water, if no leak shows there, start the motor and check. Be very careful when the motor is running.

1993 Stingray 556 Leak in Bilge

Had myself a leak similar. I had already replaced the bellows and gimbal bearing. Still had a leak. What I found was that the block on the gimbal ring, where the trim lines are attached, that gasket there was cracked/leaking. Easy fix once I found it.

Can the base of engine work? Two to bolts under engine are rusted and can

Hope it stays dry. I have to ask again if the o-ring was in place or what you did to fix the issue.

Do you have the big square o-ring in the housing? All I see is grease and water.

    Water in Oil

Good point on running at the dock or easy putting around. my 140 mercruiser will get a bit cloudy when putting. My small lake at 140 acres doesn’t get a lot of room for a good run. Yes I can open it up and make abut five loops and it gets plenty warmed up to burn off the moisture. It runs the...

Do you have the tooling for setting gear lash and rolling torque?

    To shallow?

If you don’t care about damaging the hull, no. But I suppose this boater don’t care about it.

    Strengthening the transom?

Never saw that brand of motor before. Have a model/serial number? Where are you from?

    opinions....

Caulking around an out drive means it had/has a leak from a transom rotting away.
