    Misters

Well, start at the mister pump itself, check for power with the mister turned on. Or just look for a fuse or breaker and check there.

Alarm Sounds when batteries switched on and no key in ignition

I've cleaned lots of those gear oil reservoirs over the years. Problem solved. When servicing the lower unit, the reservoirs sometimes will empty and then the float will drop down into the sludge, It stays there till cleaned.

    Pumping out oil from dipstick

I take the hard plastic tubes and set them aside. Go to the local hardware store and get a clear flexible hose that fits the dipstick tube snug. Attach to the pump and tube and pump out the oil. Easy, cleaner and quicker.

Motor knocking. Mercruiser 3.0 alpha 1

Sounds alot like mine. I figure if it blows it's no big deal on it. it's my beater boat that only stays on a lake only a mile and half big. 350 acre lake. I'm thinking it's lifters, but on by rebuild boat I found the fiber cam gears were missing half the teeth. This coming spring I'll...

Bass boat restoration and i need a bit of help.

Yes. Pullig the cap on some of them requires you pull the sides all the way to the windshield. I had a friend that needed a transom, when I checked it over, it required it to be pulled that way. He took it to a local shop and had them do it. It turned out perfect but a little labor more than most.

Amazinly my brother lost the key. Wondering what to do, I took the key from the master lock for the pumphouse at the cabin. One of those really small locks. It's been working for over 20 years. Shot in the dark.......

    Mercruiser - Stalls in Reverse

Lack of use may cause the cable to get stiff also. Think like if you don't use year car much the brakes can get rusty rotors or such. If you use things a lot they don't have issues with corrosion as much.

Guard rail gone slack, sailing cruiser.

If the stanchions are loose where they attach to the deck, there is the issue. If every is solid down there the rails have stretched over time and they will have to be re-swaged or replaced. pictures would help.

Looking for idea's to hide window screws

Yeah, C/F* I don't do metric much. lol. Agreed boat hulls are harder to heat as the water and hull itself are robust and non-insulated.

Looking for idea's to hide window screws

Do one at a time. Fix the core as stated, make sure everything is solid between the hull and inner wall. The sicaflex is a good sealer, I use butal tape on my even, it works perfectly to seal up the vents and windows. Don’t ever run a bead of silicon around the edges of anything. Silicone does...

Looking for idea's to hide window screws

Apparently the windows are leaking or something for the wood to rot inside. Perhaps you could remove the window and re-seal it, use stainless bolts and crown nuts on the inside.
