    Don't know who makes the engine but read some very good reviews on the Mitsu stating it was quiet and on par with Yamaha and Honda. I doubt that is really the case, Charlie

    I think for that size boat that an outboard would be a much better choice.Especially for your planned usage. The Bayliner is not a very dry boat, quite wet as a matter of fact.Charlie
