    In damp or humid weather the exhaust may seem like steam but is just warm exhaust.Steam is something that is going to be very hot to the touch and simply means that water circulation is compromised.Put your hand by the exhaust ports and if it is hot enough to burn your hand then you are correct...

    What filter and model # are you all using?? I have been using same filter that I use for my mercruiser motors.Usually a Atwood or Quicksilver but wanting to use a larger filter if available.Never had an issue by changing every season but bigger should be better right?? Charlie

    Yep,i currently have all 3 Evinrude,Yamaha,and a pair of mercruisers and all use the same one.I am just scratching my head hoping theses filters I bought fit .They are for Mercruiser but upon further investigation I discovered the filters are for 6 cyl Mercruiser.Charlie

    BiiiiiGG mistake if you leave any part of the boat uncovered.You will be inviting unwanted guests and moisture, rain,snow,leaves etc. The way the boat in the pic is covered is the absolute LAST way I would ever cover my boat.A boat in storage needs to be pitched with bow raised higher than stern...

    I wouldn't leave anything uncovered if you can avoid it.Nothing replaces shrinkwrap and nothing is better.If you are hung up on using your method, I would blue tarp everything after you have done your method.Charlie
