    So just got a huge favour and had someone bring my motor back with me and I just took the prop off 10x13 on it here’s a picture of the inside towards the gear housing does this bushing look shot? Looks to me like a bunch of rubber Burned up into balls.

    yea right now im pushing about 36kph (22 mph roughly), looks like common pitches on 20 hp are 10-11-12-13 thinking of going 11 or 12 to pull more top end as im on a bigger lake and like to get places when i need too

    Yea I think I’m just going to buy a new prop trying to figure out what pitch still. And keep the old one and have the bush in replaced. I just kept the RPMs super low and putted in I wasn’t reviving the crap out of it lol wouldn’t want to blow it hahaha

    think I'm going to fire it up tonight in the barrel and see if I can get it to bog doesn't seem to bog when on land but if it does ill spray some fuel in the carb and see if it helps it then ill know if I have an issue somewhere in my carb or before, but everything before carb has been checked/...

    Yea it might be poor fuel that was left in it from previous owner, it idles fine a putts around great as soon as i throttle up it boggs and stalls

    Not necessarily scared, but why over the winter when the motor sat inside a garage would the carb mixture change? If it ran fine last year and now it’s not , I’m not trying to get defensive just curious why it would change all of a sudden

    did that its on good clamped it on to the pick up also pulled the feed line off the fuel pump and primed it with my thumb over the inlet fuel line to the pump and it seemed to hold pressure great ball stayed hard and filter was full so i have a feeling it was leaking somewhere in pump

    yea usually if its like 10-15 litres(which it is) i will fill my truck with regular then just top it off with that so it weakens the mix

    yea i know they smoke and its a good thing so i know there is oil lol. im just going to get it in the water and let it run and warm up properly and see how she finds her way. And burn the existing fuel from the tank before making a true 50:1 mix on the next tank.
