    has anyone used veada brand boat seats? was going to change seats, (back to back lounge) and checked out the wise seats compared to the veada. the veada are a little more in price, but made here and uses p.t. plywood instead of plastic.they also look a little nicer.

    forming a radius with plywood for boat apholstery panels

    anyone have a process for foming some 1/4'' ext. plywood for side panels on my boat apholstery? i was going to steam the panels with hot water and clamp to the desired radius.

    filling some scratches (dock rash) and filling in old and not used canvas snaps .

    was going to fill in some minor scratches on my aluminum supersport and fill in some old snaps.was thinking of using something like a auto finishing putty but in a marine grade. any suggestions on a product to use?

    winterizing a 1985 50 hp evinrude vro

    pulled the boat and going to fog the motor before it goes to sleep for the winter.should i leave the vro line connected to the motor all winter?if not what should i do? thanks

    roll& tip painting a aluminum lapstreak boat

    have a starcraft ss which i am planning to paint.all the instructions and info says to roll on vertical and tip horizontal.has anyone run into a problem rolling up against the ribs with the roller (running) before tipping with the brush?any tips on your completed paint job would be welcomed...

    1985 evinrude 50 hp. vro

    bought a evinrude 50hp vro that runs smooth and strong, idles fine and starts quick. every once in a while the warning horn will sound when starting for a about (1) second or (2) and then stop.usually after sitting for a couple of days.after that it never does it the rest of the day.here...

    1985 starcraft ss windshield removal

    going to re-upolster the boat and remove windshield and both sides of the dashboard. how are they fastened and will i expearance any problems re-assembling them? was going to have them done and i don't want the boat sitting outside while he does the job. can anyone offer ideas?

    boat decals

    have a starcraft ss ( 1985) and cannot find replacement decals. would like to retain them when painting the boat. is it possible to keep them on and repaint them to the color i chose.

    painting with a brush

    was going to paint above water-line with a brush or pad with oil based rustoleum. seen reports that it comes out with no brush marks or runs. has anyone tried this method?

    hard steering (cable removal)

    have a 1985 starcraft ss with a teleflex rack system.50hp. vro evenrude. was going to replace system with a new cable and could not remove cable from the motor.(not enough room to pull it out) will i have to move the motor over? anyone have this problem?

    Impeller replacement

    1984 35hp.mercury,removed all bolts and lower unit dropped about one half inch. Talked to repair shop and they said it is probably seized on coupling.should i apply a little forse via a plastic hammer with some wd-40?
