    93 Mariah engine mount

Looks like stringer to me. Not being a smartass here, but what do you think a stringer is? It's usually one or two sheets of ply laminated together, then attached to the hull with thickened resin underneath and glass wrapped around and to the hull. Sometimes they are like a hollow glass panel...

Measure to the bottom side of the glass at the top first, to make sure stacks of 3/4 will work out, preferably with a layer of csm between each. Otherwise, yes it would be fine. Don't forget to set it in resin putty too.

No, breaded means fried. You'll take the one that's better for your heart.

    waterlogged foam in bowrider

They don't have to be loose to leak. It could've been hit and shifted enough to break the seal. Are there any stress cracks around it or anywhere else on the outside of that pod?

Took my dad to the er last night.

Not looking good. Lung cancer came back, and I think that's what spread into his head. I tried to call into the nurse's station last night to talk to them, but his was still doing paperwork and forgot to call back.

How do I get that last inch?

I see a lot of bass boats where the safety is just another length of strap stitched onto the winch strap.

    Cabinet hanging question.

I'm predrilling the cabinets to screw into the studs. My mud at the joints is thick enough to set off the stud finder set on deep scan, so it's not much help.

    Cabinet hanging question.

Thanks guys. I'll look for some wafer head (which is what spax calls them) screws tomorrow. The ones I have are only 1 1/4 inch.

    1981 Springbok 18' Restoration/Renovation

You would still need a generous curve to be sure you don't kink the line. Might as well just do both while you're at it.

    Cabinet hanging question.

My new kitchen cabinets are laminated particle board. Would a normal deck screw counter sink itself in well, or should I get some wafer head screws?

If you want the fill neck pointing the other way, I would just have it cut out and welded back in place. Or maybe a U pipe welded on to turn it. You would need a lot of room and extra hose to get it to turn 180°.

    waterlogged foam in bowrider

I think right now I would be more concerned about how the water got in than the transom. Is there any damage or hardware on those pods, especially below the waterline? Obviously the tie down eyes are there, which in my opinion is a bad spot. You can't get to them without cutting through the...

    Random

I've heard they can fit through any opening big enough for their beak and eyeball to fit through, because those can't deform.

    Cloth seat covers?

Hmmmm. Cloth would breathe, and have better drying potential. It would require the cover to be left off for a while though, but they really should be opened up to dry anyway. Maybe a combination of that's how it's always been done, already having the accounts with suppliers, and protecting wood...

I suck at drawing, but this is basically what I'm picturing in my head.
