    I get with alldodge is saying..if there is a problem with relay or somewhere else it's not going to work. There are two relays there by where the fuses are, which one is FP relay or is there one for each pump? I'm going to bring the boat home am and want to be able to jump on this!

    I have the pump on my bench- so I can you my volt meter and hook up to the two pins on the plug and turn the key, check for voltage? I do want to understand checking at the relay...which will tell me more if there is no voltage at the plug. I would need the pump to check at the relay correct...

    So, I think I can handle this with a little guidance. I have a meter..std type probe....so to probe that relay is there something attached to it to get into the pin area? And where do I ground it? Since the pump in the cool fuel appears to be running I don't think it will be the relay...I'm not...

    Obviously I'm not going to be an electrical engineer..but if I can test the plug and know if I have power it would answer a lot of questions.

    Interesting...I'm looking at the circuit and I see a switch for power ...what controls the boost pump to turn on and off? The fuse rectangular 3 fuses I see in the drawing also- and there is a FP relay which is one of the relays I also mentioned. I have two. Same part I think, might switch to...

    Now I will just have to find someone that knows what to do with this...I believe my problem is in the pickup or I guess what your calling the boost pump. I don't see that on this drawing? The cool fuel pump is what sends the pressurized fuel to rail correct? And where is that fuse holder?

    I I have not- would it have constant voltage only while running or the key in the first position? I understand what alldodge posted, at least in theory but I don't understand when that happens and I don't understand what turns it off and on- unless there is some sort of internal pressure...

    Ow038097 is my engine serial number- thought I had it above. So how can I test if the low pressure pump is getting a signal and assume if it is the pump is bad..for 600 bucks I'd like to make the best decision I can! Thanks-

    Well tight now it won't run on anything- fuel pours out of the fuel line after the filter. Pickup/ low pressure pump not pulling fuel..
