    1995 Crownline 202BR Restore

I feel that. While I wasn't exactly bursting at the seams with cash to do my resto, the project creep hurt after a while. That being said I got to the point where I had to decide if I wanted to cut corners now or deal with again down the line. To save on resin and glass I did not coat and glass...

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

which laminate is that again... you know, since you're using so many. :p I know what you mean with the resin though. One of the buckets I got from us composites was totally different than the other 30 gallons and a somewhat different tint even. Worked fine just behaved like gravy vs a motor oil...

    1995 Crownline 202BR Restore

I used a wire cup brush the diameter of the hole in the deck to knock the foam down and floated the wood pucks over top with peanut butter. PB in hole, press in puck, PB over top with plastic putty knife to trowel flat. Worked great. Then I hit them with the DA quick before glassing the deck.

We used to beat the ever loving **** out of eachother playing ping pong.

    1995 Crownline 202BR Restore

My us composites order alone was almost 3 grand. I included tools in mine and still came out ahead of a new boat though.

Mercury Tempest, Turning Point Mach 3 or Michigan Wheel Apollo?

Not saying the raker is not a good prop. (If what I said got misinterpreted, just that there have been updates made to others in the last... 40 years now?) The enertia is excellent, just didn't run well on my hull. I even stepped up to a 21p to try and pull it down a bit to behave like others I...

Mercury Tempest, Turning Point Mach 3 or Michigan Wheel Apollo?

The rakers were really good props back in the day. Obviously technology has advanced since then.

Gelcoat is just good resin... ie what the rest of the boat is built with. I'd gelcoat then prep the area for the transducer and epoxy it over it. Imo it will look better that way as well

How to kill mold on billge/engine surfaces

There's 5 tons worth of chlorine gas/liquid sitting adjacent to my office at work. I'm far more concerned about the yo-yo mixing whatever is in the cleaning closet at the end of the hall together and killing me by coming up with some new "special" cleaner than those things... Leak detection for...

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

How was working with the 1808? My understanding is it is more like a woven/csm layup vs the 1708 at its 45 degrees...

How to kill mold on billge/engine surfaces

Liquid sodium hypo. The granular (and cal hypo) for that matter can take you much higher but you really don't need much. For liquid outside of some special lab solutions you probably won't find much higher than 15% anyway. Most industrial grades are in that range. The generators on saltwater...

How to kill mold on billge/engine surfaces

I've taken some out of the eductors at work for... uh... "work related" cleanup. (If it happens in the parking lot, it's work related.) keep in mind that would be hypochlorous and at a way higher concentration that what you could get off the shelf. I've also used pool shock from my...

How to kill mold on billge/engine surfaces

I've worked some miracles with spray 9. The starbrite stuff is good too. Vinegar works, simple green works... like pretty much any mild cleaner works honestly.

Forgot the photos of the whole spread: Savages went hard. It was a good time. She ugly cried alot with happiness. For anyone with a BJs nearby, the 3 foots are 39$ a pop. They're stacked nicely and use fair quality and tasting cold cuts. Was pleasantly surprised. For comparison my favorite...

was thinking of changing over to a Delco EST system from points....

From what I've read (been keeping this in the back of my mind for when my TB V eventually dies) the sierra module has a higher failure rate. The GM module is NLA though so you kind of have to take the gamble if you want electronic... points are fine imo.
