    Cobalt 226…Adding underwater exhaust

To be sure, ask for a picture just like mine to be taken...to clearly see it all...

Yeah...use logic here...everything was fine until you messed with the control so...you did something wrong. Just go back and retrace your steps to find you error.

    Cobalt 226…Adding underwater exhaust

Post a picture of your engine bay, you MAY already have the Y-pipe. My first Baja had thru-hull only, but had been installed at the dealership...not factory...and so the Y-pipe was there but "blocked off". Also please clarify if you have a true selective exhaust option, i.e. 'Captain's Call'...

    Marine Sea Foam

Seriously, as noted above you need to really have an understanding of the WOT limit of the engine, the gear ratio, and prop pitch to determine what your top speed will be. You simply say you have never run WOT. First of all...why not? Or is it because it WOULD not? To put it succinctly, you...

are there boat "salvage yards" anywhere in the U.S.?

Just curious...one would have to think that these places exist?

    Stern drive ID

A 2.5 four banger will not be powering a Bravo One. Not sure what you mean by a "speedo cable"...most boats have a pressure tube that uses water pressure to function the gauge. I know you can't load pics but if you search the 'Net and find what you have, you can post that as a link that we can...

New study on tow boat environmental impact

Wake boats are lake lice...no reasonable person likes them. Adding to the problem is 99.7% of the owners are just douche bags, who feel they somehow are ENTITLED to make dock destroying, fishing boat upsetting, shore eroding passes, because they dropped $300K or more and by God are going to use...

Drilling vent holes in a prop

Aluminum or stainless steel? Unless you have a good drill press or milling machine like a Bridgeport, it is going to be difficult to achieve what you want without mucking it up. Instead of using a drill bit you should use an end mill, preferably carbide. Why not just buy a prop with the holes...

Anyone know what this female plug on the radio head unit is for?

Yeah, the manual I downloaded shows that as the antenna input. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-rAiCh28ALRg/p_045KDC225M/Kenwood-KDC-225MRCC.html

    Trailer guides

I use them for a visual aid when backing the trailer without the boat on it. My boat does not touch them as it is coming onto the trailer though I know some setups they do, in which the roller style would aid in not marring the boat's finish.

How would you answer this question?

Regal makes a fine boat...hopefully it is NOT the LS9 Surf model because wake boats are lake lice...but dropping 200 large is something most people would think twice about at an advanced age. And it's not just the boat cost, it's a large boat to trailer around (if that is needed) and a large...

Trailer bearing blowout. Need help with repair(s)

Buy a new axle...that is your only real option, with the resources you have indicated. Or take it to a trailer repair shop like REDNECK...this will assure you are tracking correctly.

    photographs......film vs digital.

I see this every time my wife and I go 'antiquing'...browsing thrift stores and the like...one often comes across photos from the past, and yes, that picture MEANT something to someone at some time. Now just cast aside, not even a memory anymore. So sad.

    photographs......film vs digital.

There are a couple of photo shops nearby that still develop film and make prints...not cheap...but still available. Many different mail-order film processors out there as well. I have often thought about setting up a darkroom in a spare bedroom of my house to do black-and-white photos...

    Carburetor issue, I think

I am struggling to understand your post/language...I think you are saying you got a carburetor that wasn't a Mercruiser (Mercruiser does NOT make carburetors by the way...assume you meant Holley, Weber, etc)..to replace the original (Holley, Weber, etc) that had been performing poorly? And now...
