    I can't answer, but your question is confusing me. you sat the transom is 15" but the depth is 21"? are you saying the sponson depth is 21? I would think a jack plate would work best but wait for someone with real advice comes along, lol. Pictures of the boat would be great.

    I could be wrong, but tat looks like a bilge pump to me. I think the shower pump is different. You don't want it pumped out into open water, you need it to go to a holding tank?

    Keeping in mind I am not a mechanic, if the water pump worked before you changed it and now it does not? I would redo the impeller before pulling the head off. The water pump in the leg is a 10 min. job.

    One would think that boat manufacturers would supply a manual for the boat, its has to be one of the most commonly asked questions. What switches are and do, accessories and where they are? How to fold up a top or even load a trailer. Its a learn as you go.

    It was a Amazon purchase. I will look it up and post it tomorrow, I'm at work, lol. I got new anodes at the same time... had to replace those as well. Sometimes when you think you are saving money, your not.

    you are 100% correct and lesson learnt, replacement impeller was OEM. It is a PIA to take the outdrive off.

    Out of curiosity, what is your vehicle? I know with lighter boats it may not be an issue but I have had to use the 4X4 on more than a few pull outs.
