    1970 MC-1 drive, water is coming out of the lower shift shaft when on muffs I put a new lower shift shaft seal, where would the problem be? It's coming out of lowere unit where shift shaft comes out of the unit under where the two shift shafts slide together. Thanks for any help. :(

    I have a coupler from a 120 merc I/O can it be used on a 165 l6 merc ? It's the same spline but the coupler itself is a smaller Dia. I think the bolt pattern is the same to. So, is it to light duty for an L6 165 or? thanks

    What is the purpose or significance of the "oil seal" in the bell housing on the intermediate shift shaft? isn't there water on either side of that seal? Should i replace it before i install the bellhousing? While it's apart? although it doesn't look like it would be any trouble to change it...
