    4 blade comprop vs 3 blade aluminum

    I have an 85 hp force outboard and it currently has a comprop 4 blade 4x12.8x17 on it and I see the prop that was supplied by the manufacturer was a 3 blade aluminum 13x19. I just machined the clutch dogs down so that it would stop slipping out of gear at wot. It runs fine at wot now after...

    1984 85 hp slipping out of gear at WOT

    My 85 hp force seems like it is slipping out of gear at WOT at cruising speed. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks Dan
