    17' Nitro/90hpMerc setup

    hey guys, I just picked up a 1995 170TF Nitro with a 60hp merc. I'm taking the 60 off and putting on a 1991 90hp Merc. Any ideas on how to mount it for the best performance? how high, what prop? the 60 was on the bottom hole with a 12" pitch prop and did 36mph. thanks, Don

    Need help with Minnkota power up

    1993 48 SPL carb adjustment

    just bought a 1993 Evinrude 48 SPL that won't idle. The previous owner messed with the rich/lean screws and timing screw. Does anyone know a good starting position for these? I know most mercs are 1-1/2 turns out from lightly seated but what is it for an omc? thanks, Don

    Spark plugs turning black

    hey guys, what would cause the spark plugs to turn black. 75hp merc ran great all summer then yesterday started missing and conked out. the end of the plugs look like you sprayed flat black paint on them. any ideas?
