    My battery 1 is at 12.8v and my battery 2 is at 13v, I cleaned all the cable end terminals for both positive and negative and the terminals at the power switch. I also cut open a small square in one of the wires just to see if it was corroded inside but it looked fine.

    Outboard almost hits transom when trimmed up?

    It says Tracker by Mercury Marine on the cover but it's an inline 4 cylinder with 2 carbs sticking way out front, I can try to raise the motor, I hadn't fiddled with it much yet, just got it yesterday and crushed the fuel connector when I trimmed all the way up.

    Yup you were right, I pushed a screwdriver in there and was able to go to neutral, I tried revving it up to 1200 rpms and it still died when I put the jumper pin in, do you think it's ok to go up to 1800 rpms on muffs and then try it?
