I've seen furlong in the wild way more than you think you would.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I think it was more like a butt of humor. Here's a turtle I found at work:

2025 Splash of the Year Nominations!

It went up about 10$ a pail between when I first was planning and when I pulled the trigger. 178 according to my invoice. I know there was a jump post 16 or so just due to production facilities taking hits but don't have any info on what it was in the middle. :(

    Trailer tires.

Couple of the trailers have maxxis. They've been fine as well. Throw off a little noise if I recall correctly.

2025 Splash of the Year Nominations!

Knew her a long time before we starting dating. Was never learing about eachother. It was always growing with eachother. Always have legitimate reasons for things and she knew that. Just easier to show her vs explain as luck would have it... women prefer jumping to their own conclusions vs being...

2025 Splash of the Year Nominations!

I told the girl all said and done, including engine parts, cabin upholstery and the rest of the crap it neared 20k to fix everything. At first she was apprehensive that I spent that much of my money. (Not engaged, yet) so I then took her to the boat show and showed her what it could be replaced...

2025 Splash of the Year Nominations!

So I had a spread sheet for a lot of the supplies pre covid. The glass, foam and resin didn't change all that much. The rest changed quite a bit. And that's where the cost came from in my case. The us composites order was 3 grand. Woof another grand. I somehow managed to accumulate another 10...

    Trailer tires.

I was just saying on my work trailers in general. (Which are 16s and 17s) The ST tires still typically have higher carrying capacity in the same size.

    Trailer tires.

Last set I put on the boat trailer was hercules which are made by Cooper out in Ohio. My guy reccomended them and they're popular in the over the road and commercial application. See them on a lot of the trucks that come through with chemical so that's good. I've used the goodyears, Kenda load...

    Been a little cold.

My daily boots are 5.11s. One of the few reasonable priced boots that have a blood borne pathogen rating. I love their gear.

    511 like 5.11?

    Been a little cold.

It was 85 and I waxed the boat Wednesday. It was a high of 39 thursday and a raining mist all day.

    Rotary Steering Cable.

More so, when measuring the way they suggest, do listen to that. I went from a detmar to a seastar and while I used the printed length on the old detmar, the new cable could easily have been a foot shorter and been fine. Measuring how they reccomended to do, the shorter one would have been what...

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

Wait... I thought goop was goop? Kidding aside, there is more complex thought in the last 10 posts than my entire engineering department at work is capable of...

    I HATE AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMPS!

Being I can stand in the majority of the bay that wouldn't be too terrible. Years back dad tore the camper back on the boat. This was before we had the cockpit cover so we used that for in water storage at that point... No rain forecast so he dropped it by our friend to repair it, maybe a...

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

I'd imagine a VE based filler/fairing material is easier to work with other than a shorter working time. Are the higher end gelcoats poly or vinyl based? Seem to recall them being VE. There is allegedly an adhesion promoter for putting gel over epoxy... I've never used it nor would I be willing...
