it ran before it had a knocking problem, which was apparently caused by the exhaust ports being plugged with carbon. all the ignition components are new, set, and produce a strong spark. The carburetor is from an 18hp and was rebuilt last Fall. Had to swap carbs because the original was set up for the onboard tank, which is not in useable condition. It pumps water like a champ, but that's all it does well. i just have no more answers for it.
