It was a number of years ago now, but I recall needing to floor it to get on plane and increase the throttle MUCH to keep any kind of speed in turns. I'm usually a pretty relaxed driver, even with my current Stingray. I just disliked that Jet Boat, the person before me had the same complaints and the person after me sold it for similar reasons one season later. Their is a reason so few companies do the Jet Boat thing these days.

All depends on how you drive it... I've had sj 90/95/120/175 powered boats. The little 90-120's were VERY good on gas, as long as you didn't hold them wide open. .
