Well I finally made a little time and got the LU back together and attached. Very easy work. Thanks for the seals High Trim.

Have to relocate my pump and put some fluid in and give it another test run.

Can't wail to get that on the boat and see how she flies.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

Here she is put back together.

I also took the time to get another pressure tank running, this is a 6 gal, my other is a 4. Cut a new tank gasket and new seals in the plug. Good pressure and no leaks.

I drained the LU after running for about 20 minutes and the fluid looked great.

Someday I'll get around to painting, at least the leg. Don't want to make it look too good someone will want to steal it.

This weekend it's Gluvit time on my boat, but that's another thread.

Took the Lone Star out tonight with the Fastwin on it. Ran very well, got the boat up to 22mph. Another motor running

Some day I'll get to painting the leg and lower unit.

Great news. Looks like Little Paw Paw lake? Still battling my '57 Fastwin. Just bought a "new" old carb down at Hildebrand's Marine Salvage in Coldwater. Waiting for yet another carb kit to rebuild it and see if I can FINALLY get mine running.

Took the Lone Star out tonight with the Fastwin on it. Ran very well, got the boat up to 22mph. Another motor running

You should have asked, I have an 18 parts motor. Looking to clean stuff out. Good luck getting it going.
