I'd just use PB to fill the bubble divots.

no, it came in quart and gallon containers. The stuff i got is called Tractor, Truck & Implement(exterior oil base enamel). I was not sure if i was supposed to get this one, or the one that says it is sandable. I have the opportunity to go back to tractor supply, so i am wondering if i should return this one and get the sandable stuff. Thanks

If you thin the Primer with 1/2 cup of Mineral Spirits Per quart then you should have enuf. Make sure and use the Ultra Dense/Fine rollers.

No hardener in the Primer just in the final Color Coats.

I just thought of how i can redo that steering wheel with fiberglass vacuum bagging, maybe i could wrap 2 pieces of 1inch csm fiberglass tape around the steering wheel at opposite 45 degree angles then put it in a vacumm bag. Do you guys know anything about vacumm bag laminating?

Havent gotten squat diddly done in over a week! The wax additive just arrived so i decided to do some fiberglassing, i put 2 more layers of csm over the keel, and then ground a taper on the bow end and built it back up with a piece of csm, 1708 and another piece of csm. Will probobly add more csm to the bow end. . On another note, i am replacing all the gaskets and seals on the lower unit of my motor, does anyone know how to remove these seals? Got that last one out with a romex staple, a hammer and a socket, redneck'd it! I also started a thread on the motor, just thought i might get even more results if i posted it on my boat build thread. Thanks for lookin guys!

So i ordered a HVLP paint gun and it will be here in 2 days! Can't wait to paint this boat, its been a long long run of work on it. I have a question regarding fairing compound, i made a fairing compound with microspheres and resin, i also added surfacing wax to it. Was this a No no? Is it okay to add wax to thickened resin? Despite the wax, it is still taking a while to cure( its pretty humid out), so hopefully that will cure so i can sand it with a long board sander.
