Now that the white is set I started to mask the design.

If look @ previous post u will know what Im going for.

MAH004956.jpg

I did some serious measuring and a lot of eyeballing.

MAH004951.jpg

I dont think the other side will be exactly the same but very close.

I flipped the pics so you all can get an Idea of whats happening. So deal with the upsidedowness. WIll buy some news paper tomorrow and start masking the rest.

Azlo,
I see the first problem. You are using some sort of measuring device, I'm not sure that is allowed.:p:D
At least you have a plan. Can't wait to see the results.
Looks Great.

Mixed rustoleum royal blue with mineral spirits and sprayed 6 coats.

SO this is how it came out. Taping a design is not easy man.

Right side up to get an idea.

Go to the Grocery store and ask the butcher for some of his buthcher paper paper. Tape it together and overlay it onto your pattern on the boat and trace it onto the paper. Cut it out and then tape it to the other side of the boat. Instant pattern.

Love your paint job by the way!!!!

I'm just sayin...:D

Thanks Bob. I was a little worried taking the tape off. Hoping not to smear or rip the blue off. Though I had problems with over spray, i over came it by wiping it with mineral spirits right after spraying.
