Anyway, there should be an idle screw adjustment on the side of the motor with the twist grip. It's plastic and might be red or white -- goes through a spring. This is used to adjust idle speed. On the other side of the motor there is the gear shift -- but think you might be talking about that idle screw. If so, what are you trying to do -- motor running too slow at idle after you start it -- stalling?
[edit. Throttle speed is set with the twist grip -- including idle speed. The idle screw is really just a set screw to keep the engine from stalling when you idle it too low using the twist grip. You can usually release the screw (counterclockwise) to the point where you can kill the engine with the twist grip, if you choose to do that. All of this works right only if ignition and fuel systems are operating properly.]
