Just enough scribble kick to get the message across. So this weekend i finally got that wood out from behind the helm. I went on and removed the other side as well even though the wood was still in good shape. I may reused it side instead of a new piece of wood. Just resin it up and put back in place. The piece behind that helm was cracked and splitting and just needed to go. It did not offer any support for the cabin top. So instead of buying new wood i had enough left over to piece the deck like a puzzle

No doubt about that. I am going to think of a way to raise the tent about a foot and put my inversion table together to get it back straight. Today i didnt do much, I went over and cut the those templates i removed that separates the cabin. I will add a layer of csm over these because i will paint them. Im thinking of painting the inside of the deck like below. If i can get this primer done right i will paint the top cabin and paint it white. Should i glass these pieces in place? The were not glass in place originally...

There were a few screws that held it in place. But the screws was for the wood trim around the door thenthey used silicone to fill the void around the space in the inside of the cabin. I will tab it in but only to the floor and the gunwale not to the hull. It should not need to be removed again but if it does just a simple cut of the tabs and remove some screws will be fine.

KC i had enough rattling when i was on the water with this thing. The cabin doors would drive me crazy rattling and banging on every wave i hit. I only discovered the other day the doors had hooks to keep them from moving. I put a door stop between the 2 door when i was out on the water.

kcassells Sorry man I figured I would not complete the project as bad as I wanted to get back on the water for the pass few years. The more I plan out what I wanted to add to the boat, (livewell, large gas tank, ice boxes etc) the more I realized this boat is not big enough for my needs. So I purchase another one that had 95% of my needs. Funny thing I still have not been out on it but once since I got it in May.

I got rid of the project. It was a learning experience for me. I learned how to glass, and this was my first time cutting wood to construct something. This will take me a long way being a boat owner.
