here's the deal. I have a 1986 120hp johnson with looper carbs that is not running right. when I push in on the key to choke it the engine starts but dies. If I start it with the choke and open the throttle wide open the boat will jump right on plane and run fine. It does fine after that. I can bring it down to a idle and it will idle fine, But if I try to take off again it will spit and sputter then die.
I don't think it matters but it has a jet foot on it. The boat sat for about a year. I rebuild the carbs the way the book said. I cleaned every little hole on them and replaced all the o-rings. I also replaced the fuel pump. Thanks for any help guys
