Re: 1990 Donzi F-23 Refresh - Tons of pictures
The prev owner was probably a dope runner so that compartment in the front is full of cash and guns.
I hope he left some cash inside!! This probably wouldn't be a good dope runner, only has a 225hp outboard and is a very heavy boat. It's prolly a bit underpowered? The panel is actually another access port to the Anchor locker which to my surprise has a brand new anchor inside.
Things to do before spring (not motor related)
1. Scrub every inch of the boat, inside and out
2. Check electrical system and all electronics
3. Re-upholster cabin cushions - they're ALL stained
4. Mount GPS
5. Check fuel - maybe pump out and replace?
Speaking of fuel... It was treated before sitting, is it a no brainier to pump it out? Some people have told me that you can tell the quality of the fuel by the smell?

Also, they said, since it's a carbureted motor it should be more forgiving when it comes to fuel? I was told to change the fuel filter and water separator, run the motor for an hour, and repeat a couple times. Does this seem correct? Sounds kinda weird to me.
