I have an 8 horse Honda, 1996 vintage and I have one complaint about it. The mechanism that is housed in the trottle grip that's supposed to be adjustable for throttle tension doesn't work so well. I like to troll a lot and keep the throttle at a steady rpm without constantly messing with it.
My 5hp Honda had a much better system where there was a screw attached to a knob that put tension on the linkage bar....but this 8 uses a cable all the way up to the grip.
Any tips??
Thanks in advance,
Tronald
