looking good MX...We were about 1/2 mile from the fire in Mountain Shadows...of course I took the boat!!!

Anyway, you've made some great progress given the fire and the temperature in the past few weeks!! Congrats...you'll have it splashed in no time!

good luck ill try and get some picks of mine i bought a 2252 classic 94' and did the same thing the cabin was in fine shape but the rest was gutted guy left it sitting for ten years full of water.
after i finished i love the boat ive been 25-30 miles out off cape canaveral. but after all the work and messy fiberglass came the engine problems so i had to rebuild it but besides redoing the whole boat i love my bayliner people seem to hate them around here just before you seal up with decking make sure you clean the drain pipes tends to fill up with debree from all the contrusction. i didnt off course and had draining issues.

wow you were close! I pray you faired well in all the mess...
It was wierd a seen a bunch of boats being trailerd around durining the weeks of the Waldo canyon fire.
their is ash built into boat in the paint a little.......

I am just about there
Bellows was the hardest mechanical procedure I have ever done in my life!
nEW trim set up is in and working great...
Went to do water pump and the taller gear is looking a little messed up and gears in lower seem real stiff.......
Any way motor is going in but looks like I need to find a new lower unit

SO SO close a few problems thogh some how the engine coupler got messed up- I think it was the cheap alighnment bar from ebay.
Dont know if Ill even make it by end of summer...
The only things holding me back at this point is an engine coupler engine alighnment, finash water pump and install drive....
So not happy about messing up engine couper.....

after a year and a half were finally there..
took her to the lake the first time sept 17 2012.
Boat did great - super solid - nice and fast- she pops up out of the water and planes out very quick
I am so super stoked Thank you so much i boats crew I could have never done this with out this great fourm..
