Hello. So new boat owner here. Have a 225 ocean pro. Drained fuel out before three months of sitting for winter. Turned the fuel swith back open, had a fully charged battery, thought I primed the bulb, chocked and turned key. Nothing. Time after time. Went and bought new battery. So I did notice the bulb got super tight after like 2 pumps. Which is telling me something isn't letting me get fuel to the motor I am guessing. I also drained fuel water separator and everything looked good. And can see the fuel being pumped into the fuel filter in the motor.
So my question is before I pull it out the water and take it to a mechanic could anyone suggest anything to try? (I am still to new to this to be playing mechanic to much on the water.) I was going to pull a plug and see if it is dry or has fuel on it and if not trace it back from there. I will be going by the marina in a couple hours and would really appreciate any advice. Am really hoping it is a simple issue or something I could replace in the water. Thank you in advance.
