First final vac and interior scrub after grinding Complete. I went ahead and used Toilet bowl boat brightener on the exterior while I was playing with the pressure washer. De greased with the purple power. While letting it sit with the blowers running to get dried out, I patterned the transom using the Popsicle stick and hot glue method. Worked pretty good! 10 oz glass on the aft side of the transom wood, Glued 2 3/4" panels together with thickened epoxy. Clamped with drywall screws. I will be removing them tomorrow and filling holes with PB then a layer of 17 oz Bi ax. Going to use thickened epoxy to glue in transom. With or without 1/4" chopped fibers? What do you think? I also picked up another parts boat. The fuel tank is 64 gallon and will fit in same location. Trim tabs, 5.7 mercruiser parts, tandem axle trailer, 3 blade s/s prop... all kind of good parts. The seats ( helm and nav) need recovered, not sure I want to tackle that or send them out. If you need parts from a Regal Valanti, let me know before I send her to the boat heaven in the ground.
