they 60 degree eagle didnt come out in V4 configureation until 1995. they offere 90 and 115 hp models. later they offeres some other hp ranges.. like 105. not 100% sure about any other hp's.
the 60 degree loopers had OIS ignistions only, I THINK...not 100% sure about that , either..
the easiest way to describe one is if you take the cover off and can see the flywheel...it is a 90 degree motor....NOT a 60 degree looper( you can actually see the flywheel on a 60 degree eagle motor , even with the motor hood off)
but they made 90 degree loopers and 90 degree crossflows... maybe not in the same HP range...a s well as the 60 degree"eagle" motors
its just describes the V angle of the piston bores in the block...
soo. if you have a 1989 90 hp...it is certainly NOT a 60 degree V motor
