Raining again, of course!
But, if we get a break I'll put a turn on my linkage and take it out.
Have to get it out of the water and do a few things.
Time to work on the deck and seats.
Maybe, a paint job too!

A pic of the little beast

Thanks again for all the help everyone!

Not much to report. It appears that any further adjustments are not beneficial. I have tried to go 1 turn in both directions and found it runs strongest and best right where I put it initially using TLAR method. And it is running great!, good mileage, plugs are good, good temps. Idle is smooth, if I keep a little dab of grease on the throttle shafts. Noticed it getting erratic, then put some grease on them and it was smooth again.

Main thing is I got my HoleShot back even with a higher pitch prop than I used before (17 versus the 15 I used to have on it), so my top speed is also a little faster now too.
Love that two-stroke growl it makes at hole shot. Nice and easy cruise at 3/4 throttle, then punch it and get pushed back in the seat.
Runs just as well as it ever did.
Now to get the charging system sorted out.

Thanks again for all the help.

The throttle butterfly shafts will over time wallow out the holes where they go through the carb body. The dab of grease trick is an easy one. Keeps it from sucking extra air. Glad to hear that the family can have fun again, that and now you look like a hero!
