I am replacing the floor in my 83 Bayliner Capri 18ft Bowrider and need to know what I need to use to seal and protect it. Far as resin, fiberglass, and sealer. Which is better mat or cloth? and how much would I need to do the project? Also, which is better to do, put the new floor down with an adhesive or stainless steel screws? Someone please help! Any info is greatly appreciated. I have some type of I guess, sealer down now, it is white which covers the wood, do I need to get rid of it before the new resin and glass goes down? I am not fully replacing all the wood, just the wood that was rotten or soft to hit with a hammer. Most of the seating wood boxes are in pretty good shape. Could I use a rot-protector to protect what I am not replacing?
